You have\u00a0heard the phrases \u201cspring forward\u201d and \u201cfall back.\u201d\u00a0For me,\u00a0it brings dread.\u00a0Can we just stop changing our clocks forward and backward?\u00a0The Uniform Time Act was signed by President Johnson in 1966.\u00a0Much has changed since then, and the reasons for changing the time twice a year seem obsolete.\u00a0Arizona and Hawaii\u00a0have already\u00a0stopped\u00a0the madness.\u00a0The issue has bipartisan support and comes up regularly.\u00a0Congress\u00a0has to\u00a0resolve the question of whether to fall back or spring forward one last time.\u00a0In March 2025,\u00a0\u201cThe majority of Americans\u00a0(54%) say they are ready to do away with the practice, said\u00a0Mary Claire Evans and Jeffrey M.
