My husband and I are working through a bucket list, attending a Major League Baseball
game at each team’s stadium. Recently, we had the pleasure of going to Fenway, home of
the Boston Red Sox. This baseball park is a piece of history. It has been in use since April
1912 and was significantly renovated in 1934. This iconic arena ranks as one of the best
ballparks we have been to. Fenway is known for the “Green Monster,” the 37-foot-2-inch
high left field wall, which has spoiled many homerun attempts. Fenway has centuries old
charm; you can almost feel the ghosts of baseball fans from years ago. Present-day fans
bring the buzz of excitement as they cheer on the beloved Red Sox. The crack of the bat, the
diving catches and walk-off wins bring life to this beautiful park. I highly recommend
catching a game Fenway Park.
