Bring on the crack of the bat! Baseball fans are excited that spring training has begun. The Phoenix, Arizona, area is home to the Cactus League. Florida is home to the Grapefruit League. Spring training is the time of year when the Major League Baseball players dust off their gloves and cleats and hit the field for another season. Fans can head to the ballpark to check out the up-and-coming prospects as they debut their skills at this prominent level. The superstars from last season will be working out the kinks and showing off their skills. Spring training gives fans an opportunity to take in early-season baseball. The experience is unique from the regular season because the stadiums are smaller and fans are closer to the action.
