The West Coast fast-food chain In-N-Out Burger plans to establish its first New Mexico restaurant in Albuquerque. The company plans to expand into New Mexico as part of its growth strategy which targets entry into the southwest market by 2027.
In-N-Out has been careful about its expansion because it wants to preserve the quality and freshness standards that have made the brand so popular. The new Albuquerque restaurant represents a major achievement for the company as it expands its operations outside its original West Coast territory.
The restaurant will be located on the northeast corner of Gibson Boulevard and I-25 on the University of New Mexico’s South campus. This announcement has generated high levels of excitement among residents who will no longer have to travel out of state to experience In-N-Out’s famous hamburgers and freshly cut french fries.
More information on employment opportunities as well as when construction is slated to begin will be available as the 2027 target draws closer.
