Raise your hand if you hate the time change. I wish we would do away with the time change. It clearly works for Arizona. The subject comes up repeatedly in state legislation, yet we continue to change our clocks twice a year. According to a news story by Maggie Branch of KRQE News 13 Feb. 28, 2025, 71% of viewers wanted to spring forward to daylight savings time year round. It is so exhausting to adjust to the time changes. That change in an hour takes about a week to adapt to the change. For now, we continue to take in and give up an hour each year. March 8, 2026, at 2:00 am our clocks will spring forward. If you dislike springing forward like me, contact our legislators and let them know we want to end the time change and stick with daylight savings time permanently. We will all be better off with such a simple change.
