On Saturday, April 12th, multiple vendors came together on main street to sell their wares in a sidewalk sale. Vintage clothing, knick knacks, replica Japanese swords and baked goods are just a few of the categories that were sold.
Vickie & Friendz Bend the Trend was a vendor who participated. She sells pretty much anything, tchotchkes to ceramic chickens. Crumbs and Cravings is a home bakery who was also at the sidewalk sale, promoting her business. She sold brownies and sugar cookies, but also brought a sample book to show patrons her made-to-order treats.
The sale fell on the same day as the Clovis Music Festival, so Main Street was closed to through traffic while different bands and artists set up on street corners to perform. This excitement brought attention to the sale, as it had performers set up on both sides of the vendors.
One vendor mentioned they would be organizing another sale in May, so keep an eye out of Facebook to make the next one!
