Did you know that there was another opportunity to celebrate your love for your significant other after Feb. 14? April 23 was the day for all lovers to appreciate what they bring into each other’s lives, and although it’s just a bit past, there’s no harm in celebrating a few days late!
It’s not exactly known where Lover’s Day originated from, but some believe it came from parts of Europe where they celebrate St. George’s day. The holiday is celebrated around the world from Europe to Brazil and even in China. This Holiday is one that is not recognized every year, but more people celebrate it than you might think. If you feel like you have not done enough for your lover, the passing of Lover’s day is a great excuse to spend time with your significant other.
There are many ways to celebrate Lover’s Day. From running errands for them to writing them a nice letter, to even just talking about your feelings with them, the possibilities are endless. You can never show too much love, so let it all out and go all out for that person that means the world to you. Your lover could be stressed from work all week, tired from doing daily task’s or even just caught up in everything going on, now would be a perfect time to show that person no matter what is going on in this world, they are still the most important person in your life. If you are looking for a day to celebrate your love with someone even more, any reason, even a minor holiday, is a great reason!
Your significant other will always appreciate the things you do for them but on this day, it will mean even more. This does not mean only show love for this one day, just let them know how much you love them and how much they mean to you. Love is something not everyone comes across, it is something special and you should appreciate every day to have someone love you for who you are, so make sure to give out a little extra love and show your life partner how much you love them, not just by words, but by actions as well.
