The holidays usually always mean it’s time to bring out a certain recipe. Mine is millionaire pie. I know I’m able to make this pie whenever but it’s never the same making it other days out of the year.
Millionaire pie has been my favorite since I can remember. My uncle used to buy them from someone until my grandma got a recipe somehow which became my most asked for dessert during the holidays. Which I decided to share today.
Ingredients
- 2 graham cracker crusts
- 8 oz cool whip
- 1 can condensed milk
- Small can crushed pineapple
- Crushed pecans
- Tbsp lemon juice
First combine the cool whipe and condensed milk til thoroughly combined. Next add the pineapple and as much pecans as you would like. I usually do maybe half a cup because it does not need much. Next add lemon juice and combine thoroughly. Next add to graham crust which makes two! Then freeze for at least two hours and serve!
This recipe is actually very easy but can seem like a lot when I explain what is in it. It is actually very easy. For every holiday I have always made a dessert.
I have always loved to bake and I then later decided to sell baked goods for a while. My junior year I sold at least 15 pies and continued every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also made Oreo truffles and donut holes with Nutella, but millionaire pie has been many peoples favorites. The other desserts I have made include apple and pumpkin pie and sometimes empanadas.
